Funding awarded to Tipperary Town Revitalisation Heritage Group for €15,900, under the Community Heritage Grant Scheme courtesy of The Heritage Council.
The Task Force’s Heritage Group are teaming up with with the Museum of Childhood Ireland to deliver an exciting community heritage project. The project aims to promote the importance of the towns Architectural Conservation Area by exploring the towns rich industrial heritage through the eyes of its young people. Particular focus will be on the story of the Glove Factory, preserving its historical footprint while building awareness of the value of a well research ACA . A detailed programme of events will take place during National Heritage Week, further details to follow.
