Tipperary Town is one of twelve places nationally to take part in an Arts Council initiative aimed at getting more of us involved in arts activities.
Creative Places is about people with curious minds collaborating with artists and other curious people. It involves sharing stories and making art.
This is the first Creative Places public exhibition.
You can hear an interview about the exhibition here.
All of these artworks were made by local people who responded to the theme of Winter into Spring.
Thanks to every single person who go creative and made a work of art that will help us anticipate and celebrate the arrival of spring in Tipperary Town.
Thanks also to project partners: Gerry Carew, Knockanrawley Resource Centre, St. Ailbe’s School, Three Drives Family Resource Centre and Youth Work Ireland Tipperary.
This artwork display can be seen at 6 Davis Street, Kingston’s Shoe Shop, 47 Main Street, The Youth Work Ireland Tipperary Youth Centre, in Tipperary Town.
Thank you to St Ailbe’s school for the images below.
